If you had added in EVEN ONE date, this would have been a whole lot easier.


I can tell you that there was more than one Farmer BARGO. The Farmer
BARGO b. abt. 1870+ was married to Martha MILLS. I have them on the 1910,
1920 and 1930 Knox Co. fed. Census. By the time of the 1930 Fed. census,
it looks as if Martha MILLS may have died because Farmer BARGO, age 55,
mar. at 18 years, has a new wife, Bertha, 20, mar. at 18 years. His son,
Jeff BARGO, from the first marriage is age 18 and in the household 209-210
at Hubbard, Knox Co. The family as a dau., Effie, age 3 mo's.

This particular Farmer BARGO had children with Martha MILLS named:
Cara/Cora
Anthony
Madra/Amanda/Manda
Dora
James
Charity
Chester
Jeff b. 1-3-1912
Hester, b. 12-1-1914

Now, in the KY Birth CD's, there is this other Farmer BARGO listed as born
10-2-1919 in Knox Co. to a Lizzie BARGO, Vol. 93, Cert 46453. There are
about 3 different "Lizzie's" having BARGO children in this same general
time period so I don't know who is who. There is the Lizzie BARGO, a
Lizzie JORDAN and a Lizzie BINGHAM.

I found a Nellie RICE having:
Juanita JONES on 9-1-1930 in Bell Co., Vol. 124, Cert 61645
Irene JONES 1-31-1934 in Bell Co.; Vol. 124, Cert 61644

Nellie RICE in Bell Co. also had:
Sheela E. WILLIAMS b. 3-3-1945

I also found that there was a "Mellie" RICE who married on 9-10-1920 in
Bell Co. to a Charlie JONES, Book 28, Page 55 and I found these births for
her all in Bell Co.:
JONES, Meille b. 4-27-1921 - twins?
JONeS, Destle b. 1-26-1925
JONES, Martha b. 3-5-1923
JONES, Myrtle b. 4-27-1921 twins?

On the 1930 Bell, Lone Jack, Dist. #1, I found who I at first thought was a
Nellie RICE but she is NOT!
Dwelling 112-116
JONES, Ben , age 26, mar. at 26, coal miner, b. KY
. .Nellie, wife, 27, mar. at 27
HENDRICKSON, Fannie, 10, KY, dau
. . Guss/Texass/Amos???, 8, b. KY
. .Ellis, son, 6, KY

NOTE: These folks are actually as follows:
Ben JONES on Jan 24, 1930 to Nellie HENDRICKSON, Book 50, Page 75

I found these births which makes me think that the Nellie above was a
BRACKETT originally.
HENDRICKSON, Fannie M. b. 12-14-1919 in Bell, maiden name of mother:
Nellie BRACKETT
HENDRICKSON, Amos A. b. 12-5-1921 in Bell; maiden name of mother: Nellie
BRACKETT

Also, on 3-23-1918 Paschol HENDRICKSON mar. Nellie BRACKETT

Here are a couple other RICE female marriages:
Eddie RICE to Forrister JONES on 5-30-1920, Book 11, Page 106
Rosa RICE to J. T. HENDRICKSON on 12-23-1913, Book 17, Page 285
Sudie RICE to Kinley JONES on 1-3-1907, Book 19, Page 484

Juanita married my first cousin, Curtis Rice. I am trying to find out if

Martha Jones who married Farmer Bargo is the same Martha Jones who was the

of Juanita who married Curtis Rice. I have some notes that I took while I

talking to my mom a few years before she died, and it says that Farmer and
Martha Bargo had Helen Bargo who owned Helen's Grocery, and that Martha was

Juanita's sister. Helen married Paul Smith. Curtis and Juanita have both
passed
away. I am trying to find out if Nellie Rice could be the mother of Juanita
and
Martha, and if she is, who their father is.
