Hi Kay, Connie, et al -

Do you happen to know when the old Pineville Schools building stood and what grades were schooled there?

I found an old postcard on the Middlesboro Historical Society site that called it the Pineville High School building, though I'm not sure of the date of the card.

Yes Yes, That is the Pineville School.
I was trying to remember where it was when the message came from Connie.
She is right about the Church in the right hand part of the picture.
Also, I am looking at all the white pants in the picture.
Could be a band or some drill team.
Records in Pineville are hard to come by due to the loss of so many in the
flood that came over the flood wall almost 28 to 30 years ago. I do know so
many records were lost so please give the Court Clerk sometime. Not sure
you will ever find more. You might even check with the Pineville City
Schools and tell them you are looking for information on your mother who
might be student in their school. They might have some of the old records,
all you can do is hope and pray.
