Can you let us know where you purchased the Bell and Claiborne Co. indices? If the time frames are broad enough, I'd like to buy copies for myself.

Just found another one.

OWENS, Fate to INGLE, Nettie in 1926 - - Book D-11, Page 1

NOTE: This marriage was in Claiborne Co.., TN which is the county bordering
Bell Co. to the south. I was able to give you this information because I
have a transcribed version of the Bell Co. and the Claiborne Co. Marriage Indexes
- both available for sale from private sources. The index only gives the
information I have given to you. You would need to order the actual record
from the Bell Co. Court Clerk in Pineville and the same would hold true for
Tazewell, Claiborne Co., TN. Do NOT expect much of anything from Claiborne Co.
Many of their records are simple entries in large books and not actual
marriage records. Or, at least that was my experience when I was there a couple
years ago.
