Hi All,
Yellow Creek is in Bell Co. because I used to swim in it at Wells Camp.
People used to build their outhouses by the side of it, and no telling what
you might see as we swam, butt naked, at the Rock Wall there. The name of
the town was called Yellow Creek before it became Middlesboro. My ancestors,
the Browning's are long time decendants of the area. My father Ted Browning
was born there, and so was I, in 1937. We moved to California in 1946. I
still have relatives there, aunts uncles and cousins. Art Browning
