Reva, you may know this but I thought I'd pass it on to you just in case.
The famous Cherokee named Sequoyah was also known as George GUESS or GIST.
He invented the Cherokee alphabet. His white father, Nathaniel GIST,
deserted him and his mother during Sequoyah's infancy.
