Grier R. Thomson Sr. 58 of Ulysses, Pennsylvania, formerly of Paris,
Kentucky, died Thursday August 28, 1997 in Cole Memorial Hospital,
Coudersport, PA. He was the husband of Betty (Roberts) Thomson.

Born in Richland Township, PA, he was the son of Margaret (Hillpot Soliday)
Thomson of Quakertown, PA and the Late Russell S. J. Thomson.
He was a Navy veteran.

Survivors are his wife, Betty and mother, Margaret; two daughters, Margaret
Buckler, Georgetown, KY and Brenda Fryman, Cynthiana, KY; two sons,
Grier R. Thomson Jr., Ulysses, PA and Scot Thomson Sr of Ocala, Florida;
brothers, Paul Thomson, Orlando, Florida and Robert Thomson, Telford, PA;
sisters Roberta Rancourt and Gloria Tharp, both of Quakertown, PA and Maisie
Watts, Orland Florida; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild and many
nieces and nephews. Services held in Perkasie PA.
