Another comment on spelling of names....my 4xgr. grandfather
was Thomas IRWIN (his signature is proof) but in the
marriage records, it is ERWIN. There are other Erwins on
the same page as him, and I am wondering if he had any
brothers or sisters in the records. He was born in PA, but
as of 1797, was in KY.
Would love to know the answer to that one!
