How Ironic. My wife is from Boyd County and her daddy used to sing that
same song to her except he had her name in there. ie... Here comes Diana
Lynn with a snicker..... Unfortunately, she does not remember any more of
the words then you do. Now having said that, in the 25+ years I've been
searching my tree's I seem to remember that song a lot but I really don't
remember if it's just imbedded in my mind from my in-laws or if it was
actually sung to me in the 50's. Sorry that I don't have any more
information for you but I now wonder if it's just an area thing (Boyd
County) or not. I'll ask around. Rich
