Dear List,

I was wondering if anyone has info. on my g-g-grandpa, George W.
SLOAN, who was born in Boyd Co. in 1862. He was a son of a woman named Rhoda
SLOAN. George's only known siblings was William SLOAN who was born in Boyd
Co. in 1873.
In 1883, George SLOAN married Elizabeth GRUBB in Lawrence Co., KY.
Their issue: Addie (Mrs. Wm. NEWSOM), Georgia, William, Millie, and Wade
SLOAN.
In 1898, William SLOAN (son of Rhoda) married Marietta JENNINGS, a
daughter of Calvin and Sarah JENNINGS. Their issue: Dewey, Dinster?, and
Chester SLOAN.

Any info. would be appreciate. These families lives in the Cannonsburg
area of Boyd Co., KY.
