Does anyone know the history of the Midland Heights Section off thirteenth
street in Ashland? (Boyd County) I am interested in the owners of the land
before lots were sold off and houses built. I am also interested in names
of who bought the land. At one time, John and Sarah Scott lived there.
John died in 1896 and Sarah died in 1900. Also, Hiram and Lizzie Posey
Scott lived there in a log cabin. Hiram died in 1933. He was supposed to
have lived on Rice Hill. I have heard a cabin was moved out of Midland
Heights to another location. Does anyone know anything about this cabin?
