I have a possibility of the family for you. Only because of the Platte
Co., MO connection, no other reason. William NEWMAN, b. 1792 NC, d. Nov.
22, 1865 Platte Co., MO, m. ca 1815 Elizabeth ELLINGTON, 1796-1869, the
s/o Peyton NEWMAN, b. 1760 Wayne Co., WV, [was VA], d. 1822 Cabell Co.,
WV, [was VA], & Rebecca REYNOLDS, 1770-1805.

I will e-mail you and send a cc to a possible contact who has a much more
extensive history of NEWMAN, and to Sharon's uncle Bill NEWMAN in CA.
