I'm searching for information on Samuel D. Copley born July 1856, married
Martha Hood in 1883 and died in 1915. Do you have anything for me? I know
his (my) line goes Samuel D., Ira Goff, James, and Thomas. But I know nothing
really about the man. What does the D. stand for? Where and of what did
he die? Where is he buried? What was the name of wife number one? What
happened to his two sons by wife number one? My grandmother remembered
only that their names were John and Robert. I'm assuming Samuel and his
first wife divorced because if he were widowed Martha would have raised
the children (she loved children). Didn't mean to go on like that. Sorry.
Do you have anything for me? I've posted on several forums to no avail.
I'm going to be visiting Boyd County this summer especially to see if I
can get some information but have very limited time. If you can give me
any clues or information about Samuel I'd sure appreciate it.
