Hello List,

If anyone has the marriage records for Boyd County, I'd very much appreciate
a look up please.

I'm trying to find the marriage date and location for my Aunt, Emma Rose
Lawson. She was born September 1893, probably in Rowan County. She married
a Dan Archer probably about 1916.

I'm told that Dan's folks were killed when he was young, and that he was
taken in by a Jordan family, and I believe that was the name he could have
been using when he married my Aunt Emma Rose Lawson about 1916 - either Dan
Archer or Dan Jordan.

Emma's mother was Mary Alice Donaldson Lawson Dennis.
Emma's father was (an unknown first name at this time) Lawson.
Emma's stepfather was Rubin Calvin Dennis.

Emma was still at home living on Front Street with Mary Alice and RC Dennis
at the time of the 1910 Census.
