Boyd Listmembers,

Since about last June or July when I took over this listserve
I have been negotiating with the Mayor's Office of Ashland
to allow me to post "A History of Ashland, Kentucky 1786-1954"
put out by the city of Ashland back in 1954. I finally got
a respose and it is listed below.

Mr. Meinhart,

I finally found out this is currently being worked on by the
City and will be added to the website at a future date.
Should you have any questions, please call the City Manager...

I will keep you posted on this, if it happens. One thing I still
will be doing is indexing this History. It may take some time
to get into this, but there are a lot of names, pictures, and
history that are in this book. This book is rare and only
appears on EBAY and bookstores about once a year or so.
