I start my PORTER family with my grandmother.
Dora ( Dorothy) Porter 26 May 1899 ? died 9 Jan 1960 in Portsmouth Ohio. & Jackson Stephenson.

Dora’s parents were William B.24 Dec 1862 Carter Co. KY D.19 Feb 1935 Greenup Co. KY & Mary Bear Porter B. 17 Nov 1865 Carter Co. KY D 14 Aug. 1949 Ross Co. OH.

William’s parents were James B. 8 Feb 1839 Morgan Co. KY D ? & Susan Kegley Porter B & D ?

James’s parents were William B.1802 in VA D. ? & Rebecca Flannery Porter B 1807 D. ? . Mary Bear’s parents were Peter & Rachel Fultz (although some say it was Presley) Bear. Peter was the son of Henry & Dorina Keesee ( I’ve seen both Keesee & Bear spelled a lot of different ways) Bear.

Jackson Porter B. 1836----James Porter B. 8 Feb. 1839 Carter Co. KY died after 1871 he married Susan Kegley 25 Oct. 1860---Levi Porter B. 1841---Henry Porter B. 1843---Gabriel Porter B. 1846----Amanda Porter B. 1850
