Thank you all so much for your quick response and help!

Teresa, I figured he must not have a marker, as he was not listed in any of
the indexes. Your work with the Boyd Co. cemeteries has been most helpful to
me. Being in Alaska, I can't just jaunt over and take a look-see when I have
a question, so the information online is really appreciated.

Phyllis, thanks for including the street location of Golden Oaks. That will
be helpful when I make it down that way next fall.

Luella, thanks for the tip on Carter County. The GREEN family settled from
Chandlersville in Johnson through Blaine in Lawrence, along the
Lawrence/Carter border, Willard, Rosedale in Carter, to Greenup County and
then to Boyd. So the Williams family of Carter may definitely be kin.

vreifenberger, I am intrigued by the fact that your grandmother's spouse had
a sister AMANDA WILLIAMS. Do you have the dates? I am not familiar with Rte
5, but did find a Williams Creek between Rush and Denton in Carter Co.,
which may be the area you mean. Amanda Williams Green was born about 1868
and d. March 1939, age 70, in Boyd Co. I have not yet seen her death
certificate, so I do not know who her parents were or where she is buried.
Thanks, you all!
Frankie
