My ggrandfather was Jacob David Coburn ,DOB 7-13-1836,whose father was David Coburn and mother was Rebecca. This info I have is from his narrative given to his commanding officer in the Civil War. The conflict is that on his death certificate his father and mother were listed as John C. Coburn and Elizabeth Saddler. I need help in finding Jacob's true father and mother and the rest of my ancestry. Thanks
