I'm searching for any information on the parents and siblings of Nancy MILLER who married Levi STEED on Aug. 28, 1836 in Wood Co., (W)VA. Levi STEED, b. abt 1800 in PA, was the s/o Aaron STEED and grandson of Peter STEED. Nancy MILLER may have been Levi's second wife.
Levi is listed on the 1840 census for Wood Co., (W)VA with three males under 15 and three females under 15 in his household. An older female (age 40-50) may be his wife, Nancy.
Before 1860, Levi moved to Boyd Co., KY and appears in Ashland on the 1860 census. Other STEEDS in Ashland are Aaron, George, Henry and Levi STEED, Jr. I would appreciate any help with this family.
