Hello list,

My name is T.Paul Bailey I am the son of Cecil Bailey
who was born on Hunting Creek in Breathitt, Co.

I knew very little about my family history until some
great folks from Breathitt and Magoffin counties
helped me out. I am writing the list to ask if anyone
has any old photos or stories of my family. My dad was
a great story teller, but I was very young and didn't
pay a lot attention to them. He died while I was still
young.

So I'm asking you for any information on the following
names.

Looking for anything on Guilford Bailey such as
photo's etc. and his wife Elizabeth ( Betty ) Calhoun
dau of Lester Calhoun and Sussan Holbrook. ( There is
a legend that my dad told me about Lester Calhoun. )

Also Ada Cole dau of Miles Cole . I would kill for a
picture of her. She married my grandfather Kellie
Bailey. She died before she turn 17 years old.

These are very old Breathitt County names and had
roots in Breathitt for a very long time. there must be
something there I'm missing. Most of the folks on this
list are burried in the old Holbrook cemetary and the
Elam cemetary where Flecthers fork runs into Hunting
Creek.

Also of interest to me is my great grandfather on my
mothers side who married Ida Trusty/Eldridge went by
atleast two diffrent names one
was Tennesse Auxier the other was Walter Humphie/s. I
also have reason to believe he used
another name. That name would be Joe Prater.
They lived in and around Magoffin County in the late
1800's and early to mid 1900's. If you can
enlighten me on my g great grandfather please reply to
this post or has any other information on the names
listed please respond.
