Here is information taken from some death certificates I have:
CHARLES JEFFERSON LITTLE, male, white, age 90 years, 24 days, retired
businessman, born Wolfe County, KY; born 24-Feb-1844, died 18-Apr-1934,
senility, husband of Armina Catherine Patrick. Father: John F. Little, KY;
Mother: Anna Abram, KY. (I don't know where they were born but married in
Morgan County, KY.) Informant: Arch Shockey, Jackson, KY. Buried: Joe
Little Cemetery.
MARY CATHERINE DAWKINS, age 16 years, 2 months, 8 days, student, born in
Jackson, KY, born 29-May-1912, died 7-Aug-1928 of Streptococci Infection of
throat following removal of tonsils. Father: E. I. Dawkins born Downing,
MO; Mother: Gertrude Patrick born KY. Informant: E. I. Dawkins, Jackson, KY.
Buried: Little Cemetery. She was the Granddaughter of Armina Catherine and
Charles Jefferson Little of Breathitt County, KY.
I have a question concerning Gertrude Patrick. I thought she was the
daughter of Armina Catherine Patrick and Charles Jefferson Little, yet she is
listed as maiden name of Patrick on Mary Catherine Dawkins' death
certificate. Does anyone know. I would appreciate any information.
