Greetings to all,

I am looking for any information on the Vires's of Breathitt County in Particular and on the Sizemores in General.

My Great grandparents were probally Alex Vires and Nora Belle Gibbs, but I am not completely sure. My Grandfather was Roy Vires DOB Aug 7, 1919 and he died in April of 1992. He married Bertie Sizemore, daughter of Martin Sizemore and Jane Baker.Their son Ray was my Father, he was born September 26 1940/41.

I had a discussion briefly with my grandpa 3 weeks before he died and he said his father was Alec or Alex Vires. I know my great grandmother was named Nora because I remember my father telling us that his grandmother Nora Hensley died back in the mid 1980's. I have found 2 Alex's that died in the 1940's so she probally remarried shortly after.

This is all the information I have at this time.
