Pension files for the Confederate troops would only be in the state
where they were living when they applied, which is not necessarily the
state they served in. NARA does not have them.

I found my Missouri ones by contacting the MO State Archives. It took
them nearly 3 months, but I received word just yesterday that they had
found them and I can now send for the records.
