I'm not researching McQuinn's but I stumbled upon the following information
while trying to locate the McQuinn Cemetery in Guage, KY. It may be useful
to you McQuinn researchers. I found it on the internet at

MEN OF COMPANY G

Wiley McQuinn, born about 1823 on Quicksand Creek in Breathitt County,
Kentucky. Son of Charles B. and Lucy (??) McQuinn. Married Sarah Haynes
about 1841 in Breathitt County, Kentucky. Daughter of John Haynes and Nancy
Angel. Military Service - 13th Kentucky Cavalry, Company G. Enlisted
February 12, 1863 at Jackson, Breathitt County, Kentucky. Highest Rank,
Private. Died before 1880 Breathitt County Census. Buried - Unknown.
Children: (1) Virginia McQuinn (B. about 1865), (2) Elizabeth McQuinn (B.
about 1867), (3) Samuel McQuinn (B. about 1870), (4) Mary McQuinn (B. about
1872), (5) Catherine McQuinn (B. about 1878).
