O.K. you caught me. It is Portsmouth not Plymouth. I haven't any idea how I
got on that tangent.
My grandfather owned the lumber mill in Portsmouth. His name was George
Martin Rogers. His wife is Rausie (sic) Hanks Horton. My father is August Horton
Rogers, called Horton all his life was born in Portsmouth in 1905. He bought the
lumber mill from C.C. Hanks on 1 Jan 1892. He may have operated it for 25
years or so.
