Thanks to all of you for answering my query and sharing your stories about
the Preachin on the Ground. I enjoyed them very much. Also the storied about
Sittin up with the dead. This Yankee knew of that as a "wake" but never
experienced it myself. I had heard about it from friends of my grandparents that lived
in rural areas.

Just one other question though. Are there families in the Breathitt or
Jackson area that still have Preachin on the ground?
