Have been doing some leg work. I remembered the town I was taken to when Grandfather Albert died and they have one funeral home and they were able to give me some info. Also did some digging in the attic. I still live in the homestead farmhouse of my other grandparents and found a small box with Gradfather's name and my name on it. It had his wallet, army medals, and a letter signed by the President for military service inside. I guess it was put away for me to have someday. I know Grandfather's parents were Ethel Wright and Emma Oliver now. He was listed as widowed on the funeral records. Did some more looking at 3 libraries and found a Beatrice Cissel in Carlilse and Graves Counties in Kentucky but cannot make a connection to my grandfather. Ran out of time even though I thought I was getting close. Learned that the Carlilse Courthouse recently burned and all was lost. Sometimes it seems like I am not supposed to find anything out about my real family.
I do not know if we are looking for the same family but there may be a connection. The only record of any Cissel I have is Beatrice Cissel listed as mother on my biological father's birth certificate in Fulton Kentucky 1943.
I was told that there is a cemetary in Carlilse with 2 infant sons of Wright and Beatrice Wright and that there is a Beatrice Wright buried in a Graves County Cemetary but do not know if they are from my family. Just keeping notes in case.
Maybe this will help you and maybe you can advise me if you have any connections to Albert Luther Wright born 1912.
Thanks
