Hi all.....just a brief message this morning to tell everyone of an
extraordinary act of kindness by one of our Mailist members, Miss
Dixie......

Several weeks ago Miss Dixie mentioned to me that she was visiting
Cincinnati (where we were both born) and planned a trip to Casey County. We
had previously exchanged memories of our growing up in Cincinnati. In
talking of her upcoming trip, Miss Dixie graciously offer to do whatever
research I might need in Casey County........My last trip to Casey County
was in the early 1970's and I wasn't interested in genealogy at that time,
so I had failed to make photo's of my Grandparents graves.....I suggested to
Miss Dixie that if she,without making a special trip, happened to be near
Mintonville I would appreciate photo's of my Grandparents graves.

Last wednesday I had an E-mail from Miss Dixie telling me that she was home
safe and had my pictures. On saturday my wife and I visited with Miss Dixie
at her Antique Shop at Sloughouse California and was given the
pictures.....Not only did she photo my Grandparents graves, but also my
Great Grandparents graves, plus a variety of Aunts/Uncles/Cousins graves.
Miss Dixie then refused any reimbursement for her effort..........Soooooo,
one more time, Miss Dixie, I appreciate all you have done and cannot thank
you enough.......
