Hi all, had written several weeks ago to the Christ Church Episcopal
Cathedral in Lexington, Fayette. KY for a check of marriage records for my
GGM/GGF. They reported they were unable to locate this 1868 record but did
provide information regarding a non-relative Rainwater that may be of use to
some on the mailist. Here 'tis:

"Dr. Frank Palmer Rainwater transferred to Christ Church Sept 30, 1948 from
the Church of The Advent in Nashville, TN. Two years later Dr Rainwater
transferred from Christ Church to St Mark's in Troy Alabama. No mention was
made of wife or children."
