I located my Tilley's on the 1880 Letcher Co. Census. They are:

Mary "Polly" 46 NC NC NC
Robert E. 18 NC NC NC he married Girldine Pike
Roxey Ann NC NC NC she married Jasper Garland
Newton 14 NC NC NC m. Susan Hubbard 18 April 1888
Ellen 12 NC NC NC
Cyntha Alice 11 NC NC NC m. James Robinson 1885
Lawrence 8 NC NC NC
Mary 7 Ky. NC NC m. William Vandeventer 17 Dec. 1890
Elizabeth "Betty" 3 Ky. NC NC m. John Hibbard
On Aunt Betty's death certificate it lists her mother as Mary Balew Tilley.

As for my Adams, they are well documented. They came here from North Carolina
into Letcher Co. on into Perry and McGoffin.
