Hi Judy;
I to have Smith on both sides, my mother was a Smith from Russell Springs,
Russell Co. her mother was a Wilson and her mother was a Brown. This is as far
as I can get with that line.

My father was a Chandler born in Clay Co. and his mother was a Smith also, Dora,
her father was John R. Smith and mother Sarah Jane Philpot. John R's father was
Levi and this is as far as I get with it. Sarah Jane Philpot of course traces
back to the Bowlin line. But the Smiths are a mystery and hard to trace.
