Jess, and Others,

In your research do you remember a murder that happened in the early
1800's in Clay Co. that involved the COLLINS Clan? Supposley Bradley
Collins son of Meredith of Pike Co. and Collins members of Solomon
Collins Clan were involved in this. I am trying to establish a
connection between the two families. Somebody gave me this info but in a
computer crash the info w/ documentation was lost.

Bradley married three times in Clay Co. before leaving for Carroll Co.
MO. with third wife Elizabeth Lusford. Other two wifes were Catherine
Barney mar 7/28/1831 Clay Co. and Betsy Griffin mar 2/16/1833. He
married Elizabeth 9/5/1836 . Bradley sold his property in Clay Co. 1839
and I am told left the area just ahead of the law. Bradley had a son
Andrew Collins who left the area with him. Andrew was married to Betsy
SIZEMORE. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
