The following newspaper clipping from Logan County, Kentucky, may be interesting to fellow listmembers. It is taken from the Knott County Historical Society's Electronic Chronological History of Eastern Kentucky 1673-2000. If you can elaborate upon this history, please share it with us.
Special Coffin Made. Russellville, Ky., June 20. The largest woman in Southern Kentucky is dead. She was Miss Dick White, who died at her home near Cave Springs. Miss White weighed 400 pounds, and a special coffin had to be made for her. It was 67 inches long, 30 inches wide and 24 inches deep. WD0006260109b.
