Here is a Abstract of Jabel Smith, Clay County, KY
you can put it in the Archives of Clay Co. on their web page. I copied it from the bk. I have of the Smiths, which was researched by several ancestors, and put together.
Would any one on the list know if this ancestor of ours with the long name, might connect to these McRobert's in the records listed below, she is the wife of Silas Smith, m. 1848 Clay County, KY, ("Amanda Mandy Mavo Pitts Violet McRoberts Smith Smith,") her maiden name was Smith. Might be 4th cousin, don't know how. When I first joined this list I got a email from some one who said they had a cousin named Silas Smith who moved to AR, that is us, would that person please write to me again. I had no further corspendence with them.
