There are no COOKS listed on the 1880

I do not know of a site where one could locate early Clay Co. deaths. The
KY Death Index starts at 1911 and is searchable on -line. There are also
books sold where the vital statistics (including some early births and
deaths and marriages are compiled. I also imagine the LDS has some early
information in microfilm form.

see about Thomas and Wesley Cook, both alive at least through 1860 is
