Hello,
When I was there in November 2001 it looked like they were putting the oldest
marriage records in binders. The more recent ones are already in binders.
They do have index books there in the court house to look up what file or
binder marriage records are located in. But it is easier if you already have
that information. Although I found a few miss filed marriage records. For
Example I was looking for a marriage record in file 32, someone had put in
file 31. The marriage records in the files are not in any particular order
that I could see. So, you just have to look through all of them in that file
to find the one you need. If you don't find it, then look in file folders in
the year before or after. Good Luck!
