My mother will be 86 in June. A couple of years ago, the grandkids talked her
into making the crepe paper flowers for them. We had a hard time finding the
right kind of crepe paper in the stores. She also used to dip them in
paraffin. She learned how to make them from her mother Julia Alice
Nicholson, b. late 1800s Clay County, KY.
