Can anyone tell me why I can't find my great grandfather, Franklin HOOKER on
the 1880 census? I have looked everyplace. He was born on January 10, 1877, in
Clay County, to Mary Jane Alifair Wagers and Clinton Hooker. They weren't
married. I have found Mary Jane living with her mother, Zylphia Smith Wagers, in
Clay County, and I have found Clinton Hooker living with his wife, Eliza
Louisa Harris Hooker, and their children, but Frank isn't with them. I have looked
at Smith families, and Wagers families, and Hooker families, hoping that
maybe he would be with one of them, but he isn't. Where could he have been? He was
just 2 or 3 years old.
