William Burns the s/o Charles, Clay County Kentucky pension application.

Revolutionary War pension claim number #s, 16669. He was allowed pension on his application executed October 23, 1832, then a resident of Clay County Kentucky and was seventy six (76) years of age.

note: 76 in 1832 he would have been born 1756.

Just saw a need for a correction for the birth date of William Burns.
In 1840, the Clay County, KY. Census, Images 41 and 42 William is listed
in the household of Sarah Bishop. On image 41 it list him as a Rev. War Vet
and gives his age as 87. Therefore he would have been born in 1753 and not
1756. His name is listed as William Burnes, Sr.
