Back again with William Burns s/o Charles.

I believe if you will check on William's children you will find he has a daughter Sarah Burns b. about 1801. Sarah Burns married William Bishop on April 10, 1817. Therefore there is no reason that he would not live with Sarah Bishop, his daughter.

In 1840, the Clay County, KY. Census, Images 41 and 42 William is listed
in the household of Sarah Bishop. On image 41 it list him as a Rev. War Vet
and gives his age as 87. Therefore he would have been born in 1753 and not
1756. His name is listed as William Burnes, Sr.
