I am showing William David Lear b Sept 09, 1877 as marrying Roda Elizabeth Cole July 14, 1898 Jackson Co KY. Showing William David Lear as a son of Mary Lavina Summers who married Thomas Lear JR in Laurel Co KY. Showing Mary Lavina Summers as a daughter of Allen Summers and Sarah Forbis/Forbus/etc who married abt 1830 Laurel Co KY. Now I am very curious about the wife of William David Lear; Roda Elizabeth COLE. I am showing a James COLE b abt 1866 KY married to Melissa Belle Forbis/Forbus/etc b abt 1869 KY who died abt 1898 in Dalaney, Madison Co AR. I am also showing a Mary Catherine COLE who married James Garrett Forbis/Forbus/etc on April 08, 1880 Jackson Co KY. Mary Catherine Cole also apparently died in Dalaney, Madison Co KY. Looks like a strong connection of the Coles of KY and AR to the Forbis/Forbus/etc family line of Clay/Rockcastle/Laurel/Jackson Co KY. I am curious if anyone can help with any of the people mentioned in this query? Thanks for sharing. !
