Glenda,

Do you know if Audrey can correspond well or not? Do you know anything of
Mayme, or Evelyn, or the others? I would like to correspond with them if it is
possible.

I visited with them a few years ago and Mayme asked me to wait an hour
before I came over. (I thought she wanted to tidy up the house or something)
I was so surprized to find out that the reason she wanted us to wait an hour
was because she called all her sisters and had them come over, and I think it
was Evelyn COE? travelled from Jamestown, TN. It was so much fun going
through some of grandpa's old photos and having these fine ladies trying to
determine which one of them it was in the photo! We stayed about an hour
and had a wonderful visit. The last trip her place was dark and appeared
vacant. We did only get to visit with 4 of them as one of them was unable to
make it due to a dr appt I think... (I forget which one) I would like to
correspond with them. They knew so much about my grandpa, and others in
the family, yet I didn't want to overstay our welcome.
We didn't get to meet their brothers Travis, William, Clifton and Carson
McFARLAND, and would love to hear from any of their descendants as well.
