Searching for the William and Peggy Johnson family. Wm born 1800, either
Clinton, Cumberland Co., Ky. Peggy born 1815 in Ky.. Their children are
William b. 1833 ( all the children are born in Fentress Co., Tn,) 2,Andrew
born 1835, Green born 1837, Jane born 1839, James born 1841 married Sarah
Catherine Austin, dau/of Richard E. Austin and Rhoda Riddle.)Hugh born
1843, Thomas born 1845, and Giddy (Gideon) born 1849. I have a copy of
James discharge papers of the Civil War and discharged in Clinton Co.,
Ky. His family seemed to wonder around the 3 counties stated above.
