My apologies, in advance, if you receive this more than once.
Seeking help in sorting out my Madison family lines - I know I'm missing
some of the pieces out there, and probably have some extras, but don't have
enough info to sort it out myself.
In our King family, I have John Madison, b. 20 May 1820, d. 12-30-1887
(parents unknown). He married Faitha Addie King, daughter of Higason King
and Annis unknown. Faitha King Madison was born 3 Nov 1825 and died 12 Aug
1869. They lived in and are buried in Clinton County. The children I have
listed for them are Clerenda, William G., (I suspect this is William Green
and he goes by the name Green), Perry (who served as Cumberland County
sheriff), Higason (known as "Hick"), Henry H., Marion A., John H., Bryant,
Granville B. (this may be Bryant), and Dorinda.
The other clues or things I THINK I know:
Perry Madison (son of John & Faitha) was married to Hattie ?? - no children
that I know of.
Higason "Hick" (son of John & Faitha) was married to Janie ?? - 2 children
that I've identified - Granville (also known as "Bud"), who was married to
Angie B. ?? and Gertie, who married John T. Nation.
Green Madison (son of John & Faitha) was born 4 Nov 1850 & died 11-4-1912.
His DC states that he was buried in Davidson Cemetery (Clinton County), but
there's not a stone for him - probably in one of the numerous unmarked
graves.
Henry H. Madison (son of John & Faitha), married to Martha Young. Henry,
Martha and a son Bradley A. are buried in Rose of Sharon Cemetery in
Cumberland County (they do have headstones).
There's a W.G. Madison buried in Davidson Cemetery, who was born 13 Sep 1818
and died 4 Nov 1912. He was the husband of Rhoda, according to his
headstone. Rhoda E. Madison is also buried in Davidson Cemetery. Her
headstone says she was born 7 Feb 1868 and died 4 July 1895. (Wasn't he a
"cradle snatcher"! <vbg>)
I've also found an Alfred M. Madison that was married to Frona Melton and
was the father of Perry R., Nettie A., Neta A., Granville M., and Raymond A.
Raymond & Perry R. appear to have been twins. All of the chilrdren were
born in Clinton County. Frona's buried in Cedar Hill Cemetery, but Alfred's
nowhere to be found. (Alfred was born about the same timeframe as John &
Faitha's kids.)
There's a Homer O. Madison, married to Sally L. ??, who are both buried in
Five Springs Cemetery in Clinton County (from the Clinton County Cemetery
book). I can't place Homer, either.
Add Marion A. Madison to the list of those I haven't been able to link in -
I think he's the sone of John & Faitha, but don't have any proof of that.
Now, while trying to sort these folks out yesterday, I discovered that there
are individuals with the same names scattered across Edmonson and Barren
Counties. Green, Higason, and Granville names aren't that common - add
Henry & Perry to the list, and the probablility that there's some family
connection between the different ones seems likely. (Higason was a family
name of Faitha King's father and grandfather.)
Can anyone shed any light or share any info about these people?

P.S. Davidson Cemetery in Clinton County has probably 60 or 70 unmarked
graves - there are field stones or plain concrete markers, if there's
anything at all (many are indicated by the sunken grave sites). Can anyone
help identify who's buried there that doesn't have a tombstone?
