Dear Jim,

The documented origins I have for Candace ALLEN are the North Carolina
marriage bond and a MO death certificate for one of her children (Charity CHEEK
SHELLEY). Her name appears in both as Candace ALLEN.

I have no documentation at this point for her parentage, only the theory that
her parents were Drury ALLEN and Rebecca CHAMPION. Your information helped
stimulate formulation of that theory.

I had known there were quite a few CHEEKs in Arkansas, but was unclear as to
whether any of them traced from NC through KY. By the way, it is possible to
establish a genetic link with the NC CHEEK families. See www.moonzstuff.com
