Tom & Nel,

The coordinates for the Travis Cemetery are 36º 37' 26" North and 85º 02'
91" West. Take Highway 127 eastward from Albany toward Jamestown. Turn off
at the Chanute Church onto the Chanute Road. Go pass the old store-gas
station. About 75 yards back from the road juction you will see a hill
covered by brush off on the right side of the road. This is the Travis
Cemetery. It is thoroughly filled with every conceivable sticker found on
earth. A good load of napalm might help clear up the problem. No kidding.
Bring your machete to check out this one. The site is just slightly inside
of Kentucky. The Beatys lived very close to this site.
