Hi all. This may be of interest to some of you.

I have been transcribing the early Clinton County death records. These
records cover the years 1852, 1853, 1854, 1855, 1856, 1857, 1858, 1859,
1878, 1903. 1904, 1905 and 1906. Thus far, I have transcribed 1852, 1853,
and 1854.

In 1852, there were 61 deaths recorded for the county. In 1853 there were
41 deaths recorded. In 1854 there were 71 deaths recorded.

For those who haven’t used these old county death records, they are full of
great info. Most provide name of parents, date and cause of death, birth
place, death place, married or single, and age.

I plan on putting these transcribed records into book for if there is enough
interest.
