I read an old posting from 2002 regarding Artema Wallen. She is my great grandmother. Grandmother was Letha Bell Wallen Brown, wife of DeWitt Sherman Brown. Mother was Octavia Brown, wife of James Kennedy. Do you have any additional information about Artema? I know of her circumstances and the six children. I am interested in how all of this came to be. Even considering the time and location, the events with Charles Davis seem extreme. Any information would be helpful. Also, do you know the burial site for Charles Davis. Thank you.
