Rice E Graves brought his wife and children from VA in 1843. He had no
other close relations in Daviess County that I am aware of. There may have
been a very distant connection to John C Graves b. 1800 Woodford Co Ky d.
1880 Daviess Co. buried on old Graves farm near Philpot. A good site to
research the Graves name is http://www.gravesfa.org/
