In the Probate Abstracts from Grant Co., Kentucky, Book A, 1820-1833

Division of Estate: William New-23 September 1825
lands are given to Greenberry M. New, William Henry Harrison New, Belinda
New, Susannah New, Moses Scott New, John B. New, Henry Sipple, and to James
B. New.
dower rights are given to "the widow New" - 60 acres of land on Eagle Creek,
Book A, page 264

There has been some mixups on the above listed William Henry Harrison New
and William Henry Bowman New. Does anyone have documented proof that would
help straighten out the question of who married who? They are listed in a
few places as being married to the same women.

Another unsolved question---where was the father, William New, in the above
statement born?
Some have Rhode Island but this was found in "Stories of Biographies of
Ballard, Calloway, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, McCracken and Marshall Counties
, Kentucky"----
Mr. Harp was married April 4, 1870, to Miss Ella B. New, a daughter of
Greenberry M., and Catherine (Wright) New. The father was born in Grant
County, KY. His father, William D. New, was also a native of that county,
but the grandparents were natives of North Carolina, and were of English and
Scotch descent. G.M. (Greenberry M.) New came to the Purchase in an early
day, and settled in Graves County. He subsequently moved to Ballard County,
where he died in 1860. Mrs. Harp was born in this county, and became the
mother of five children, four of whom are now living: Fred L., Clarence H.,
Minnie P. and Charlie B. Mr. Harp is a member of the Christian Church. Mrs
Harp of the Methodist Episcopal Church South. Subject (Charles W. Harp) has
been identified with the I.O.O.F. fraternity and is a member of the Milburn
Lodge K. of H. He has also served as thustee of Milburn.

Does anyone know who the Susannah New who married 24 Aug 1826 John Ford, Sr
is, is she the "widow of William D. New, Susannah New" or their daughter
Susannah New?

Thanks to anyone for ANY help on this,
