I can't actually help you any with info on Sylvanus Butler. My interest in
your posting is the marriages into the Hendrix family. I also have Lydia
Rosell m. John J. Hendrix July 22, 1860 (George W. Franks was John Hendrix'
brother-in-law.) And William O. Butler m. Martha Alice Hendrix on Feb. 22,
1867. But my Hendrix records show another connection of Maggie Butler
(sister of William O.) m. George Frank Hendrix about 1879. George was a
younger brother of Martha Alice and John J. Hendrix was their uncle.
If you have any additional info on the descendants of these 3 families, I
would appreciate having it. And if you want any more background on the
Hendrixes, I would be glad to share.
